The development, fabrication and installation of localised cooling fans as an interim measure for particular hot spots on the tube network.
YJLi selected appropriate fans to provide localised cooling at particular hot spots on the underground network.
These fans were provided with safety cages, and connected to both power supplies and the station fire systems.
YJLi took their proposals through LUL's assurance regime, fabricated and installed the chosen solution to a very tight timescale to ensure that the benefits were realised during the summer months.
