Portable Fans 2008

A continuation of the 2007 project to provide localised cooling fans as an interim measure for particular hot spots on the tube network
Following on from successful delivery of the 2007 project, YJLi were able to secure the work again in 2008.
The established solution of portable fans, with appropriate cages and fire system interlinks to ensure safety, was again implemented to ease temperature levels while the Cooling the Tube team put in place more permanent measures to reduce unacceptable summer temperatures.
The pragmatic and appropriate approach demonstrated by YJLi in this project is typical of our approach to all our schemes, and a key part of our drive to provide both value and performance for our clients.
