An Introduction To YJLi

When you work with YJLi, you will be working alongside a company that has a strong history as a business; an employer of experienced rail professionals and a company that has a clear strategy for how we will deliver your scheme and develop our business in the future.

YJLi is a rail business. It is everything we do. For us, it is not something to turn to when the other markets are in the doldrums and then leave again in the ‘good times’. Rail is not a good environment to dabble in – for safety reasons, because of the complex standards and processes involved and because we often have to allow the public to walk through our work site 20 hours out of 24.

We wouldn’t employ someone with a part time commitment to rail, and we don’t think that you should do either!

An accredited supplier to Network Rail and London Underground, YJLi operate throughout the South East and Midland area and offer a wide range of contracting services such as:

YJLi can take your project from any stage – even from evaluating the need for a project or surveying the condition of existing assets – right through design and construction to assurance and ensuring that the works are properly brought into use.

YJLi can source and deliver a vast range of technical solutions to any project. A mixture of our own labour force and specialist contractors undertakes the execution of the work. Being part of a group of specialist companies has given us a number of opportunities to partner with sister companies, driving up the "direct" element of our bids and allowing us to offer great value to our clients.

We are set up to deliver to the exacting cost, quality and time requirements inherent with rail projects, and to do so in a safe manner.
