Waste Management

YJL Infrastructure hold a Certificate of Registration under the Control of Pollution (Ammendment) Act 1989 issued by the Environment Agency. 

We are registered as a waste carrier which allows us to transport waste in the course of our business.

YJLi seek to minimise waste and reduce the environmental impacts associated with its disposal.  All waste generated by YJLi is controlled by a Site Waste Management Plan which outlines the waste streams generated by the operations on each site.  Waste storage facilities are provided throughout our sites to accomodate those waste streams identified in the Site Waste Management Plan.  All waste produced by YJLi or its employees is transferred to a waste contractor who has a Contractor's Registered Waste Carriers Certificate and in the case of hazardous waste is registered with the Environment Agency.
